The spoiler on my 997 Gen 2 C2 has developed erratic behaviour of late. It appears OK at the normal raise at 74 mph / lower at 34 mph, however, unlike my previous 996, I cannot see the spoiler when raised, through the rear windscreen. On recent short journeys way, way below spoiler lift speed I have found the spoiler raised when I got out of the car and had to lower it manually. Also if raised manually, it does not always lower when driving off as it should do. Unfortunately the light in the manual raise/lower switch only lights up in manual mode so does not indicate when the spoiler is lowered in auto operation so does not give me any clues as to what speed/driving conditions are present when it decides to raise itself. Any ideas on where the fault may lie please?
