Erratic temp gauge

Is it just hopping around? If so have a look on here or the other forum as someone did a great write up. You need to take the dash instruments out and clean up the little brass oval shaped connectors. Really its very easy - steering wheel off 4 screws for the plastic surround another 4 and 2 ribbon connectors for the dials and out it comes.

[;)] Also take out the sender for the temp gauge and give it a good clean with autosol. Mine used to read on the quarter mark and after a clean it now sits just under halfway.

As said, I am surprised this is not in the FAQ! It will be the dash contacts. I had to perform this measure on both my S2 and Turbo :).
