Essex region is quiet ?

Being a new PCGB member and I think I may fall into the Essex region.
What surprise me is that there is no event lists and communication etc in this region (or is there another thread that I have missed?)! [8|]

Hi Charles,

By location you are an Essex member.

The region is quite busy - perhaps you would like to come and assist at Hedingham Castle on Sunday. We have Champers & Chips on Friday (fully booked I'm afraid) and Sunday just gone we had a convoy of 12 cars running down to Goodwood.

Events are listed in the regional section of Porsche Post and, if you make yourself known to our Area Organiser, Martyn Molyneaux (details in Porsche File and on the Club web site) he will include you in his regular e-mail up date.

By far the best way to get to know what is happening regionally is to come along to the monthly meet just outside of Chelmsford.

You would be most welcome and we have quite a large 944 contingent so we always like looking at new 944's.

Charles,

I have re read your comments and see where you are coming from with regard to regional use of the forum. There ain't much.

I might suggest that Martyn copies his e-mail onto the forum so at least we have the makings of a focus and this might encourage more R11 members to use this facility.

Hello and welcome!
The Eseex events tend to be emailed by Martin Molyneaux. If you email him, he will put you in his address book.

Next meeting is Tuesday 12th June. Hope this helps, Sue

Did you go?

I had to miss it because of my sons' school concert. He was playing at the end otherwise I could have sneaked out and done both.
