Establishing Early Service History

I have bought a 1985 911 Supersport with a partial service history. The bit that is missing is the early years when it is most likely that it will have been serviced by the Porsche main dealer network.

Does anyone have any advice or tips on how to obtain documentary evidence of the car's service record as a historic exercise before I approach the Porsche main dealer network.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
