Hi,

I need to replace a faulty switch, this price from ECP with discount code applied, seems too good to be true. Anyone bought "H-Tech Electric Window Switch" from ECP and can comment on its quality? I don't want anything that's inferior in quality compared to OEM.

Paul

it says H-tech, it won’t be OEM so you have the choice cheap replacement part or very expensive genuine,

URO also make window switches so do the Chinese if you look on AliExpress

if you want OEM then buy from OPC or second hand, I have a few genuine second hand ones got them off eBay they all work fine

Thanks Waylander, your experience has been taken into account. I bought a used but genuine switch from eBay. Hopefully its got some life it in it. For anyone wondering, OPC switch is £63, price confirmed yesterday.

I bought an H-tech and it's great. Feels more modern, less clunky, been working great for a couple of years.

yup i agree stu, but he asked if they were OEM quality and they are not, they feel different.

but they work just fine and as cheap as chips, I found the same ones on alibaba, if you buy 100 units they are about £3 each

True Martin. I have 4 or 5 genuine ones that I've opened up and fixed, but they seem to eventually play up after time. So went for one of those H-Tech jobs and as you say, performs great for buttons. I still have 2 genuine refurbed ones on the car, both passenger ones which seem fine but see much less use than the driver one.
