Looks an amazing trip.
I did London - Paris - Nice - Piza - Rome - Venice - Lake Como - Alps - Troyes - London so there is a fair bit of overlap.
I will did out some intel and routs for you over the weekend / early next week.
Found a good / secure car park in Venice. Car can be locked in a cage within the multi-storey park as well!

From Stuttgart to Venice, divert over to Baden Baden and drive the 50km stretch of the B500, Black Forest High Road (Schwarzwaldhochstraße) down to Freudenstadt. One of the best roads in Europe and well worth it, its around 45 mins from Stuttgart to the start then heading south so in your general direction http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schwarzwaldhochstra%C3%9Fe .
