New member
I plan to take my 1988 3.2 coupe on the Club September tour to Stuttgart and the Alps.
This is the first time I have been continental touring for some years so can anyone suggest
a) what would be a good choice of spares to carry for a non-mechanic and
b) if they can recommend any 'get you home' services if the engine should blow up.
thks
Robert

You will 2 warning triangles,a complete set of bulbs, fanbelt insurance cert [not acopy] MOT licence and log book[none of these to be copies]
to be copies you also need a first aid kit also 2high vis jackets and a fire extinguisher Each one of these is a100 eurosfine if you don't have it.Good travels.

Why don't you join the 3.2 Register on the trip they have arranged to Europe this year?[&:]

I only take copies on my insurance certificate as well as my actual licence (both pieces), have never taken my V5 or MOT in over 30 years driving in Europe.

In France you also need to take two breathalysers (4.99 from Halfords) and should blank off your headlights - I never do, but......

Check with you insurance and most polices have 90 day European cover including recovery.

Have fun

Breathaliser Law was never put into Law in France. The company ,aking them were related to Ex Pres Sarkowsi so the new Pres decided it would not become law.

Thanks for the heads up, will spread the word, but unfortunately the Local french plod can at times be a law onto themselves!

There're also useful to test yourselves if you do have a lunch time nipple [:)]

I do believe someone has pressed the wrong key or haven't disabled predictive text. Unless a lunchtime niplle IS actually illegal in France of course...[:D]

I mentioned the previous French President in my earlier post, a lunchtime nipple might be more appropiate for the present President ?

I never realised that Mother's Milk was alcoholic! So basically I started going downhill from Day One. I knew everything bad in my life was my parents' fault, if it hadn't been for them I wouldn't have to worry now!

Cheers,

So which side did you prefer,Fred--no wonder we keep getting those muffled titters at club nights[:)]
