There was a good group of 964RS, 964 and other Porsches at Donington this evening - a few pics here - http://s787.photobucket.com/albums/yy158/A9XXC/Track%20Day%20Donington%2013%2006%2012/ - more to follow!

I like this one -

Yes , it was a good evening with at least 2 964RSs there , this time the garage queen spot was taken up by a yellow Ferrari 458 Italia as no 993RSs were available [;)]

I took the orange 964 down in convoy with Steve 'Teaboy' Brookes from a very wet NW of England , the Toyo 888s are down to minimum road legal tread so it was not a comforting drive.....however by time we reached East Midlands Airport the weather had cleared up a bit. We joined up with Ian Harvey , Chris Whittle and Paul Ward to form a 964 garage team.
I'm sure some more pics will be posted , my contribution is a bit of youtube video ....with Chris driving my car [8|]

It's some years since I did Donny last and it was not the GP circuit , so I had some passenger laps with Ian - very nice - and with Chris - typically racy.
Unfortunately did not get on track at same time as the other guys but I did get some datalogging to mull over between Euro football matches [:D]

Another great night, thanks to Steve for sorting. Good to see everyone, I think we all enjoyed the excellent Donington, even with the Melbourne loop.

The weather was totally dry even though there was evidence of heavy showers nearby, space on thr track was plentiful but there were a lot of spinners leading to debris/gravel on track and a few damaged screens, mine include, as a result

Thanks for the drive John, a lovely well sorted car.

If you are looking for a camera mount for the rollcage so that the camera doesn't bounce [&o][;)] (I'm sure I can help [:)])

All I can say is, the car didn't seem to be remotely unsettled [:)]
