  • Sunday 10th April – Joint meeting with TIPEC. Visit to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, Bury Old Road, Edenfield, BL0 0RX. We are taking donations of food, biscuits, treats, toys etc for dogs, cats and other pets. We are leaving the Boat House at Riley Green, just off Junction 3, M65 at 9.45. There is a café on site.

  • Sunday 17th April – Preston Sports & Supercar Club breakfast meeting, The Phantom Winger, Fulwood, Preston. Next door to the IBIS Hotel, next to the M55/M6 Junction , Cars arrive form 9.00 and you ned to get there arly to get a parking space. Bacon barms, tea/coffee and full breakfast available and some of us stay for lunch.

  • Wednesday 20th April . Monthly meeting – Garstang Golf Club –Starting at 19.45. "New Members Night”. The speaker will be Mark Williams, who we have had before, who will be telling us how to compose a good photograph. We will also be launching the R18 photo competition as well. Please confirm ASAP if you will be attending so I can arrange a suitable room and order sufficient sandwiches. Our ‘normal’ monthly meetings attract 40 members (Including wives/partners) and I expect there will be many more than this attending.
  • Sunday 24th April – PCGB - AGM – Cornbury House, Detaislsin Porsche Post
  • Sunday 1st May- Supercar Sunday – Mitton Hall, near Whalley. You need to arrive by 8.30 to be able to get on the car park. Between 80 and 100 sports and supercars assemble for an informal get together and bacon barms/tea/coffee.
  • Monday 2nd May Gawsworth Hall Classic Car Show, Macclessfield. We a re joining Region 5 and many other car clubs at this event. Leave Charnock Richards Services. M6 at 9.30, or go direct.
  • Tuesday 3rd May Social Meeting – Stoneybeck Inn, Penrith.
  • Sunday 8th May South Lakes ‘Drive & Lunch’ Leaving Porsche Centre Kendal at 9.45 Please let David Nightingale (tel 01697 476082, david.nightingale927@btinternet.com or myself know if you will be attending .
  • Sunday 15th May – ELITE Cars Car Show, Kendal – Contact Mike Trotter on 07841 215962, or mikevrs@yahoo.co.uk.
  • Sunday 22nd May Porsches on the Prom, Llandudno. See Porsche Post for details. Let me know if you will be attending so we can arrange suitable meeting point to go down together.
  • 30th May Mawdesley Classic Car Show, Near Chorley. Entry form available on

  • Friday 29th – Sunday 31st July – PCGB National Event at Silverstone Classic Race Meeting. Several R18 members are attending this event as usual. Full details of the PCGB event are in Porsche Post and details of the race meeting can be found on-line. I am waiting for confirmation whether there will be Regional parking, or not. This e is an excellent event and there are many other attractions as well a s the racing, and our event
