Spring Drive and Lunch - Sunday 19th AprilIt's time to blow the cobwebs away. Come and join us for a morning meet for coffee followed by Convoy scenic/mystery drive lasting approx one and half hours to meet the other half of Region for Lunch at a mystery location. For your convenience and convoy safety we have split the Region for this event. Take your pick. Members wishing to leave from the Cambridge area will meet at Cambridge Services mid way between Cambridge and St Ives junctions on the A14. Meet at 1030. Members wishing to leave from the Bedford area will meet at McDonald's at the Interchange Retail Park at 1030. Please ensure you have sufficient fuel to complete the convoy scenic drive. In order arrangements for your lunch to be catered for we need your entry well in advance. So to secure your place in the convoy and at the lunch table would you please ensure you e mail me asap stating how many for lunch and the area you wish to depart from.

Just checked the forecast John and it seem that there is snow due in your area this weekend and could be blizzards too. Appears to be coming form the north of England starting around the Penninnes. We send all the cr*p down south!

I have been reuqested by members of our Region to further respond. If it snows this Sunday we will be making a special event a
STUN = 'Sunday Trip Up North' and will be rining your bells - all of them![:D][:D]

I am pleased to report that as per Peters quote above 'the cra*p all stayed north of the Pennines'.[;)]

We have lovely weather and a great drive and lunch - thank god we did not have to go on the STUN run
and practice our Campanology![:D][:D][:D][:D]
