Events 2003

As usual please check all venues before travelling!

AUGUST
30th/31st
Eynsham Hall - Main PCGB event
The 924 Register gazebo (and me!) will of course be there. [:)]
Region/Register and PCGB employees gathered at Eynsham on the 5th April for the yearly seminar so we got to see the Hall and grounds; which are magnificent. Promises to be a special day indeed!
The 924 Register has 10 allocated RESERVED SPACES - contact me to grab your place!

SEPTEMBER
12th-14th
Manx 50. Isle Of Man
This is a Heritage Group event and the 924 Register is part of that Group.

For a countrywide list of events see page 132/133 of the July issue of Porsche Post.

[;)]Some additions to your calendar.
8th. June The Carole Nash Cotswold Rally. The 924 Register won the Register of the event award last year. Come along and defend it.
12/14 September Manx 50. Isle of man. This is a Heritage Group event and the 924 Register is part of that Group.

Thanks Geoff

Is it still an expensive nightmare to get over to the IOM, or have things improved since the old ' steam packet' (I think that' s the right expression) days?

Paul
I din' t think you were that old. It is still the ' Steam Packet' but it is neither expensive ( with PCGB) or particularly inconvinient these days.
We don' t have much trouble with U Boats now either.
Geoff

Nah, I' m not ' that' old [;)] - I used to be a bike nut in the 1980' s and all I ever read about the IOM ferries was the bikers complaining about the dirty/smelly/expensive transport over there.

Never been to the IOM though - I' ve been to the IOW though, does that count? [:)]

[;)]So you talk about things without knowing the facts. 924 owners take note.
Seriously as a Register Secretary for a Heritage Register you really should go on this Heritage Group event.
If we beleived everything we heared you would admit to driving a VW van derivative. [:D]
