Don't forget we have another event next weekend - The Porsche Day at the Motor Heritage Museum at Gaydon.

This has been organised by the Cayenne and 996 register secretaries, and we are invited. Last years event was very popular - this year should be just as good!

Helen Goff posted this in the General Discussion forum to explain what is happening on the day:

Larry Goff and Johnny McGirl have organised a Porsche day at Gaydon motor museum.

At a cost of only £5 per adult (kids under 14 free) you can have the chance to be driven around the 4x4 track in a Porsche Cayenne, take part in a cayenne driving challenge, and spend some time looking around the museum. The usual price for museum alone is £6 per person kids under 4 free!

There will also be trade stands, and OPC Solihull will be bringing along a selection of cars for you to nose around.

There's no need to book - just turn up on the day in a Porsche and you can claim your discounted tickets. You will be directed to the Porsche only parking.
Gates open at 10am.

Extra attractions (bookable on the day at the museum).
  • Take part in Karting for adults (and children over 8) at the cost of £4.80 per person.
  • Be driven around the 4x4 course in a Landrover defender for £4.80 per person.

A quick ^^bump^^ to remind everyone about this event :)

Looks to be an excellent day [:)]

Sadly I'm going to miss it [] Apologies to all.
Don't worry though - you'll all be looked after admirably by Johnny McGirl, and Helen and Larry Goff.
They have put a lot of hard work in to this, getting OPC support, Cayenne rides on the Land Rover course etc. Looks a lot of fun [8D]

Enjoy [:)]
