Events August/September

We have a number of events coming up in the next few weeks.

Sunday 7th August - Supercar Sunday - Mitton Hall, near Whalley. You need to get there by 8.30 to be able to get a space on the car park. The event closes at 12.00.

Saturday 13th August - Cars in the Park. Miller Park, Preston. This is a free to enter classic car show, and each car gets two free meal tickets. You need to book via the entry form attached below.

Sunday 14th August - We have been invited to Region 3 show at Witton Castle, Bishop Auckland. Please contact Greg Harm, Regional Organiser North East Region on r3@porscheclubgb.com to book.

Sunday 14th August - British Commercial Vehicle Museum Classic Car Show. For those of you not travelling to R3's event there is a local classic car show to attend in Leyland. Please go onto the British Commercial Vehicle Museum website to book direct with them. www.britishcommercialvehiclemuseum.com

Wednesday 17th August - Monthly meeting. We are NOT at Garstang GC this month as we have again been invited to Kirkby Lonsdale MC car park concours at Heaves Hotel, Levens, near Kendal. This is a fun concours where entrants all judge each other cars. Food is also available but you need to sign on before 19.00.

Sunday 21st August - Preston Sports & Supercar Club Breakfast Meeting - The Phantom Winger, Fulwood, Preston, just off the M6/M55 junction next to the IBIS Hotel. You need to be there by 8.30 to get a parking space.

27th - 29th August - Oulton Park Gold Cup. Region 5 have a good deal on entry tickets - just £10 for the weekend. You need to book direct with Allan Crosby before Friday, 4th August on r5@porscheclubgb.com.

Sunday 28th August - BVPG Classic Car Show, Stanley park, Blackpool. If you are not going to Oulton Park this is a nice event to attend. Please book direct with Tony Bolton on 01253 771669, e-mail tebolton@googlemail.com.

Sunday 4th September - Supercar Sunday - Mitton Hall, near Whalley.

Tuesday 6th September - Social meeting - Sportsmans Inn, near Penrith.

Saturday 10th September - Register Rendevous, Keddeston Hall, Derby. More information available in Porsche Post

Sunday 11th September - BVPG Classic car Show, Fairhaven lake, Lytham St Annes . Contact Tony Bolton to book.

Sunday 18th September - Preston Sports & Supoercar Breakfast Meeting - The Phantom Winger, Fulwood, Preston.

Wednesday 21st September - Monthly Meeting, Garstang Golf Club.

Planning has now started on the Christmas Lunches and Sue & Mac would appreciate any items you have for the Mega Christmas Hamper Raffle ASAP. Funds raised from this raffle go toward running Porkers and other events.
