Right so which of Gary's list of potential 997 trips tickles your fancy [:-]

List below as Published in Gary's Thread
  • March - East Midlands Drive and Dine
  • March/April - South Midlands car-show meet, drive and dine
  • April - Cotswold Cruise, possible overnight
  • May - Mini factory tour
  • June - Porsche HQ
  • June - Driver Education on-track experience
  • June - Silvertsone Classic
  • July - TBA
  • August - Interlaken
  • September - Princess Yachts and Devon weekender
  • October - Wales Weekender
  • November - NEC Classic
  • November - Bruges weekend
  • November - Nurburgring
How about sneaking a few people onto the Manx Weekend (R6, R11 and another one I have forgotten) - on average it'll be the 997's in all their forms TT, GT3, etc with the highest top speeds and the Isle fo Man is de -restricted in places.... - you get my drift :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Ones that seem tempting to me are:
..
  • March - East Midlands Drive and Dine (I take it thats sort of Northamptonshire direction)
  • April - Cotswold Cruise, possible overnight
  • June - Porsche HQ
  • June - Driver Education on-track experience
  • August - Interlaken
  • September - Princess Yachts and Devon weekender
  • October - Wales Weekender
  • November - Bruges weekend
  • November - Nurburgring
Final thought what about a presence as a group at a particular track day like they do for the boxsters, Silverstone Gp circuit in July anyone?

Just catching up....[:)] thanks for the interest shown

The dates are almost ready to be announced for the Cotswolds weekend.

The East Midlands does cover a wide area, sadly Northampton is Speed camera central so not really my sort of place for enjoying a lovely road without taking my eyes off the speedo.. It will be based within the M69/M42 triangle and visit them homes of the East Midlands and West Midlands meeting places..

The will be another announcement made either the start of next week or in Porsche Post if Rob tells me I have to wait till then [;)]
