A few of us have visited The Dinslaken Porsche Festival in previous years, and it is arguably the biggest Porsche only event in Europe with cars travelling from as far away as Russia and Spain. The event is always on the 1st May and next year will be the 18th time it has been held. The event organiser is a good friend and he always gives us an infield parking area in the centre of the showground so we are right amongst the action.

At this months R22 meeting a potential trip was discussed and there has been a good bit of interest. I have also been speaking to Barry Clarkson (R1), Greg Harm (R3) and Kevin Dodd (R18) and there is interest in doing this as a Northern PCGB trip as Members from these regions are also interested in coming along.
The hotel we always stay in is The TRYP hotel which is 500m away from a large indoor shopping centre with an excellent selection of waterside bars and restaurants. It also has secure parking and is next door to a Shell petrol station that has a car pressure washer for those that want to keep their car clean.
