Excellent new Boxster Book

just out, a new book on the Boxster, The Complete Story, by Gavin Farmer, published by Crowood Press. Gives a nice background, a good blend of coffee table and anorak, and covers all models up to (but not including the 987).

Lots of research at the Factory plus reference to "competitive" non-Porsche models, detail on year by year changes, even a section on customising mods gives it a really good scope.

The best Boxster book I have seen.

I have to own up to giving Gavin a small hand with ideas and proof reading, along with Mark and Claire.

Available from Club shop?

(I saw this advertised the other day, somewhere(?) and thought "must let people know" - then forgot!
Thanks for the reminder Nic - must order my copy from club shop[8D])

Would definately like a copy of that too. I have had a look on the club shop listing and can't see it, but will give them a call tomorrow

I saw that book on UK ebay and was going to ask if it was any good. I will see if it is in the US. Does anyone know the ISBN number? Jeff

Mark,

the bad news is that Gavin renamed you to Mathew in the Acknowledgments. Can you cope with this?

ORIGINAL: Mark Bennett

:ROFLMAO:

Buy this book folks - then perhaps I can get it corrected in the second edition[8|]

Then you may be acknowledged as a Luke or John.
They are all from a more famous book [:D]

Maybe Jesus drives a Boxster? The apostles couldn't possibly all fit in to one so I'd imagine he'd have a Cayenne Turbo round the back so they could get around.

Just heard from Paul at Club shop - Three Sold so far - we've got four in stock at the moment - should sell easily I reckon

It took a while to get it, but here it is.

So....

Who is Gavin Farmer?

Yes, that's Nic, Claire and um...me...:ROFLMAO:

Gavin is an Australian author - he has written several car books, but Amazon doesn't seem to have many of them!

If the club shop is out of stock, Amazon have it:
