exhaust for a 944s

big al

New member
hi

i need a exhaust for my 944s from the centre silencer back, i am wanting a sport exhaust stainless steel, i have found what looks to be a good deal here

http://www.powermarques.co.uk/sports%20ex.htm

its a complete system but does look rather cheap has anyone fitted one of these and what do you think of it ?

or what would you recommend?

also i don't think my front pipes are stainless steel should i replace them anyway and just fit a complete system

That sites a good find Al, I thought I knew all the Porsche sites but thats a new one on me. I have heard of Spiegel (but I don't know where from) but I haven't heard of anyone using them on 944. Maybe worth calling them for a specific picture, maybe of a previous customers car.

The standard parts should be stainles steel, but they are not mirror polished so don't look it. Take some Autosol metal polish to your filthy pipes and they should polish up like a mirror. Mine did and I sold then S/H on Ebay when I replaced them

Help

Edited by Paul - chasing it up for you now

as i said for a complete exhaust it looks like a good bargain which sets alarm bells ringing ( the saying you get what you pay for comes to mind) hopefully someone on here has had a exhaust from them and can give us a idea of what they thought about it

Put a polished SS backbox on my Lux last summer.

I got it off Ebay from mattinlondon (mls@type911.co.uk)

Cost £130 + P&P

I am very pleased with it , deeper sound and alot less weight.

He did not do front SS boxes so I purchased a standard front for £24
