The standard Porsche exhaust is very good and the equal of any of the after market products. Most of the extra hp claims for the after markets systems are nonsense (they merely make more noise). If you do want a non-Porsche exhaust, then I would suggest that you speak to Hayward & Scott in the UK, they make the finest stainless systems and will manufacture to a standard format or completely bespoke and will fit the system should you be able to travel to them.

I assume you're referring to Haywood & Scott? If so, they'll do the lot but I still think the factory stuff is best (certainly the manifolds and heat exchangers).

So simple ..........[&o]

Catby pass, cup pipe and g-pipe .. straight thru system "Cup System" ... that will sort out your ears 118db and give your bi-sexual sex life a lift with any gender bender you want in any European country which way upside down and turn around. :ROFLMAO:

When I collected my N-Gt it had precisely this set-up.

But the G pipe was too loud and even a standard secondary (final ) exhaust was around 106dB, so I replaced the tip with a Will Norman unit which has reduced it to 103 to 104dB static which has passed the noise tests so far.

At Donnington last I blew out a Lambda sensor (maybe unsed on the Motec because I had no warning lights) --- which definitely added a bit of noise (static) but didn't seem to affect the drive by 98dB test.

On a classic car I would never consider an after market exhaust ... but have a Wills Tip (with the original in store).

Chris ...

I think you are confusing G-Spot with G-pipe ..... the end Silencer under the rear arch is replaced by the G-Pipe .....www.annesummersRSparts.com do a special knob that you can insert for the wild 964 Boy ... but this has been known to come loose under high pressure ....[&o]
