Hi All,
Please can any one give me some guidance please on a good a reputable company to supply and fit two new rear silencers to my 2000 3.4 carrera- mine have finally split.
I want to keep as standard as possible so not looking for anything too sporty, any ideas suggestions would be most appreciated.
thanks in advance.

My advice is to be careful if you choose any after market system. I've heard bad cheap exhausts and bad expensive ones.
If you don't fancy OE (and at 750 per side most don't), I'd recommend the Dansk silencers. These have a slightly deeper note and cost less than half of the OE ones.
Try and hear some for yourself though. Most specialists (including me) fit them.
Kind Regards Lee Jones

Peter Toulmin at Toulmin Motors in Windsor, can do it all, including fabrication - good guy, really interesting workshop to visit, and more than capable of taking on rusty old exhausts - will put it up on the ramp for you check it over and give free advice on best approach.

Hi, I have dansk sport boxes on mine plus 100 cel cats and headers, never regretted it ar all. The noise makes you grin from ear to ear. I suppose it's how loud. If you go on you tube theres lots of sound clips to listen to get an idea, or if you don't want to down that line, have them rebuilt.
Hi,
I have a pair of Dansk sports too, only been on a few months. They were around Ā£600 Fitted by my Indy garage went I bought her. They have a perfect sound in my opinion. Not too loud but certainly enhances the flat sound. Went for a trip down South a month back and on the motorway they were perfect, just a pleasant background hum. On the flip side windows down and given lots of revs they sound superb.
David.

Just had dansk boxes fitted very good, only Ā£90 to fit and Ā£570 from design 911. I had the sport version which is only a little louder and sounds great. Did need some adjustment on brackets which was odd. Cheers ps buy the proper dansk fitting kit as well.
