One of the favourite topics on all the sites is what does the exhaust note sound like from all the various exhaust enhancements, just wandering for the benefit of the uneducated and any fence sitters whether it may be worthwhile say at an appointed time say 1pm in the 993 area on Sunday to have a sound off!!

I'll volunteer my fabspeed muffler bypasses with std cat.

Sorry to here about Maurice, get well soon.......what are we all going to do with out Maurice as the contact point, hope the Marque will be there.

Can I suggest we all meet at 1pm at the Marque for the 993 register and we can go from there! Has any one a digital video camera to record the event, sorry I'm back in the land of the tape version.

See you at 1pm. I only have a tape camcorder as well. I want to make sure my engine is warm before the sound off, so I may go for a quick spin before hand. Anyone want a quick trip at about 12:30 to warm the girls up?

I love the sound of mine when cold
Me too - she seems to 'pop' more, but I just don't like revving her too hard until the oil is warm! [8D]

Where were you all. I know it was a flag at not a Marque.

I was there with a sound meter borrowed from the 964 register (thanks Alex).

The results I won by the way, 102DB at idle, peaked at 114 DB at 5000rpm, how the hell am I meant to get on a track day!!

Apologies to the owner of the bronze 993 with the ruff and ready 993 register sign, it was me that set your alarm off ..............
on idle............ honest guv.

I am guessing that everybody else was either in the queue to get in, the queue for the toilet or the queue for food, or even the queue to get out.

Agree pp, Ragley was shocking for National show for an organisation of PCGB stature.

Hugely disappointed [:-]

Apologies for not turning up for the sound off. My daughter was having a better time on the climbing frames, so I decided to let her have some fun rather than both of us having a bad day.[:'(]
