Exhaust tail pipes change

Evening All,

With the mild weather I have spent a bit more time driving the boxster recently and have thoroughly enjoyed it - I am sure there must be a few more owners like myself so bring on global warming!

I have attached a recent photo of the car - believe it or not after a coat of wax just given last week - winter waxing!

My question - I would like to change the tail pipe on the boxster to a chrome twin pipe one - boxster s or similar - can this be easily done and is there any genuine porsche parts for this? If not can anyone recommend a good aftermarket alternative. I feel this is the only part of the car I can not control how it looks - the current standard pipe does not polish up well at all.

I hope you all have a great new year.

Best regards,

Frazer

Hi Frazer,

The part number is 987 111 258 30, you can get it from any OPC. Don't forget to ask for your PCcgb discount!

I managed to get 15% off mine. I think the list price is £314 plus vat.

Where are you, I maybe able to get the 15% for you?

Regards

Steve

love the colour-mine is cobalt blue but needs a severe polish having just looked at yours steve[:D]

i had an aftermarket tailpipe for my cayman s and shouldve put the old one back on when i sold it grrrrr!!!

cant remember where i got it from though!!my boxster s tailpipes are impossible/hard to keep clean so would consider going again with a replacement.
15% off would be good perhaps you would be kind enough to email me where you got yours from as they are easy to fit from experience

cheers

Yes but its not 'actually' worth £375 is it? I mean, its probably worth £100 max, even if it was handcrafted by sheffields finest steelmongers!
