Exhaust upgrade advise please?

Hi, being new to porsche I was fortunate enough to purchase a 997 c4S Recently, but one feature missing was the sports exhaust. I have been reading forums where somthing called a Gundo hack can be done to allow a small pipe to bypass the muffler to give the same rasping noise. Has anyone done this, and do you have any advise please. Currently located in Berkshire area if any recommendations come in. Thanks

I'll second the Sharkwerks. I've just had one fitted to my 997.2 turbo and it's transformed the driving experience.

Glad you are liking it Simon.

Does anyone have a link for a Sharkwerks exhaust for a 997.1 Turbo?

Can you buy it in the UK or do you need to import it from the US?

Have a good look at the Sharkwerks site - if they do it, it'll be on their site.

I’ll second DW Performance. They supplied and fitted my one. Speak to Kev. He offers a great service, knows his Porsches and is a lovely chap.

ooh what did they do to yours?

Hi,

Paul at PCW just did my 997.1 C2S yesterday.... OMG!!! It is sounding simply awesome! .. But yes, I did book him back in September. There is a reason why he has such a backlog... it is a popular (and quite cost effective) modification.
