Spike,
Unless I'm missing something, you need to mention which model you have. Then, you might get some suggestions....

[:)]DOH!!! Sorry,lol,

I have an 02 996 turbo, i've been offered a "TUBI" system with twin rear pipes for 1k,but any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I have a Tubi on mine but ditched the tailpipes for the standard items as they looked a bit Leo Gemelli.

Sounds like a full race blown sausage on full chat when my right foot is planted but a bit fluffy at normal speed although sensibly quiet.

You'll never get a pure and crisp sound out of a turbo car but I think this is as good as it gets........worth having for a bag...good value. Would like to dyno the car to see if it really gives you the 20 or so extra horses.

PMSL at the Gemelli,I want full Sergio bud,

Its got the 2single one larger than the other with rolled edges, have seen pics of it on teh guy's car looks good.

Looks like thats me for saturday then, have it on a trial buy,if i dont like it I can return[8D].

Thanks again

Long story, went 2 get my number plates made up this guy comes in a viper with straight through pipes,I commented "why cant my porsche sound like that"and it turns out the guy who runs the shop has a 996 TT,thats just had a shunt.

We got talking and he said he had taken off the tubi in prep for selling it-He's buying a Lambo!!!! So turns out he knows some1 that will fit it for me,if I dont like it I can hand back,he's that sure I'll like the sound,

To top it all he's mooching around in a loan rarri while his 996 is repaired, lol, he says the 996 is much quicker and a completely all round better car[;)]

I have an H&S system on my standard 3.2 carrera and it's fantastic, more grunt and loud when you want it! Cruising is as quiet as standard system, only noisy in acceleration mode.
Speak to Ian there and say I sent you.

Enjoy.

Thanks Nigel,

Ive already been to see Ian as its where i got the zorst done on my scoob,
I really need to hear a turbo with one fitted, the tubi fell thru ,the guy sold it on E-bay!

Any one know any body with a H&S zorst on a turbo?

Mike
