Exhaust valve butterfly stuck

Hi
Hi. Has anyone successfully freed up a stuck exhaust valve? The vacuum actuator is doing it’s job but the valve itself is jammed closed. I’ve tried bashing it (gently!) with a hammer & WD40. Any Ideas?
To replace it sadly involves replacing the entire rear silencer which seems a little excessive.
