Exhaust?

Have a little query on exhausts.

1 - Whats the normal lifetime of an exhaust assuming normal usage, for example if its done 40k can you expect much more?
2 - I hear you can fit the carrera S exhaust on an early 2.5 with an optional kit, is that true? Does it still fit well? How much is the kit?
3 - Last but not least, having an S exhaust on a 2.5 does it make any difference in performance or sound?

1. Mines done 95k

2. As a 911 engine/gearbox layout is the reverse of a 986/987 the fitting of a 911 exhaust would be something of a challenge and I would imagine the fitting kit would need to include a decent saw and a TIG welder.

3. Probably a minimal effect on either.
