... are we allowed to talk about the relative merits of specialist suppliers?

Apologies if not but I was looking for a team view on the relative merits of PORSCHESHOP versus Design911 and how product quality compares?

Specifically, I am considering fitting stainless exhaust tips and I am tempted by PORSCHESHOP offering (saw them at Goodwood FOS). Anyone any experience here (they will be fitted to a C2S)?

Cheers all.

PS Why does my Login say "Non Member" when my Profile includes my PCGB membership no.?

A recent discussion on titanic 944 said that Pshop were very helpfull if you went in to the shop but could be worse than useless on mail order.

My recent experience involved asking for a price for a 993 Fog / driving light unit. They were about £6 more expensive than Statstones Porsche main agency. I questioned the price and their attitude was, "Take it ir leave it". I'm sure you know what I did!

I got a set of the Dansk st-st tips from Bert Gear (Berlyn Services), arrived within a couple of days and great quality. I had a slight mis-understanding re-Post&Packing charges (which wern't a lot anyway) but I'd recommend him.
