Experience with replacement roof controller unit on 986 Boxster S (2005 model year)

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has replaced the standard roof controller unit. I know the std unit can be bodged so that the roof can be raised without having to be stationary (but still needing the handbreak on), but I am also after a one-touch operation such as the SmartTop unit offers.

Thanks,

John Iddles

I have a 2004 986 fitted with a one touch Smart Top controller, the roof can be raised and lowered on the move up to 30 mph (50km/h)

Thanks for your reply; are you please with the one-touch Smart Top controller and how do you stop the roof part way to access the engine?
