Extended Warranty Paperwork

toals

I took out the extended warranty a couple of months ago; apart from the invoice for the payment I have no other documentation. Is this normal or should I have a warranty book of some sort ? Probably not an issue at my local OPC but what about France or Germany.
Grateful for any advice on this as will be heading south from Calais in a few weeks !

I have a Porsche Approved Warranty Policy Booklet which has the dealer stamp and my car VIN, mileage, etc details; the rest of the booklet details what is covered in the warranty and at the back there is also a request for transfer of warranty (to be completed when selling) though I can't remember if the dealer gave it to me or if this arrived in the post later on.

I know I got several Porsche breakdown assistance cards in the post; 3 so far: one from Cambridge where I took out the policy; one from Hatfield assuming because the car was bought new from there and one from Reading HQ...all identical...

Yes.

I had nothing for ages and then three packs (all the same) arrived within a few days of eachother[&:].

I took my warranty out last June - the booklet arrived a couple of weeks ago. Interestingly a few weeks ago the car went in for some warranty work - i wonder whether that initiated the sending of the book.

I had my inspection and warraty just a week or 2 ago and they gave me warranty book etc there and then. The only thing that came in the post was a letter ststing that the car had been accepted etc. And that was only posted as I didnt have time to wait while they printed it off. Seems like they all do it differently.
