Exterior cleaning - Picture heavy!

And today, I looked at renovating the paintwork. To this end....

Flex rotary mop
3M Fast Cut Polish
Sonus Final Finish Polish
Green and black hexagon pads
Carlack 68 sealant
Collinite 476 Wax
Various Micro fibres

Paintwork was mopped, sealed and waxed, rubbers treated, door shuts cleaned and wheels sealed and waxed.

It took all day, finished around an hour ago. Long, laborious process but the finished results are great and it will be a lot easier to clean now for 6 months. Water will run off the surface and much of the swirling was removed. To remove all the swirling I would have needed to work for a few days on it, could not do this unfortunately. Still, 90% were removed.

The paint had not been mopped before, this was clear to me, and the body had really bad polish marling all over it from years of sticking various polishes and waxes on it. Now gone!

Feeling satisfied now, here's some after shots.....

Superb.....!,looks lovely!!!CS wheels look lovely too, agree with the sort the number plate out!!!!

You should get a correct / full-size rear plate. Pre-2001 font would be nice too, although technically illegal.

ORIGINAL: Frenchy

Agree with all of the above, looks brilliant, where do you source your products ?

This time I got most from Halfords. The ones I did not; such as the sealer - Carlack68, the wax and the polishing compounds, I bought from Cleanyourcar.co.uk a few years ago. They supply everything the pro detailers use and the service is spot on.

I will mop this one again upon my next return home to remove the remaining light swirls and get a deeper finish. Once you've mopped the car and treated it with good quality wax you will really notice how quickly it cleans up and notice that the finish stays for a long time. So long as your wash technique is good.
