External temp sensor

I ordered an external temperature sensor as the on board computer of my 96 Coupe reads 32 in all weathers.

Adrian Streathers "The essential companion" says the sensor is located in one of the external mirror housings whereas various on line forums show its location as being behind the bumper grille below the side lights.

Looking through the grille mesh I can see two similar sensors sitting in a housing, one on top of the other. I presume one is the external sensor and the other linked to the A/C system.

Removing the grille mesh will create access. Does anyone know how the grille comes out without taking the bumper off?

Which sensor is which if I manage to get to them?

This is probably a wee bit late but... the OBC sensor's wires are blue/green and brown/green whereas the sensor for the climate control has brown/blue and green/blue wires.
