I have a litre of ATE Super Racing Blue Brake fluid with it's seal unbroken.

This was surplus when I did my brake fluid change (bought 1l too much).
Does it have a shelf life? Is it worth keeping till next time?

Does it have a sell-by date ?

I thought it was only absorbed moisture that was the demise of brake fluid ...

Brake fluid replace once a year for road car, twice (at least) for a track car. Sealed, it should keep 12months. I'm getting the impression yours is used as a road car, in which case completely fine for a 12month change. I've kept SRF sealed for 12months, and put it in a race car with no ill effects.

Think about, how do you know how long its been sat on the shelf before you bought it?
