Extras to do if wing being taken off??

Hi,

My front o/s wing and bumper are due to be replaced after a prang[].

Does anyone have any sugestions for things to do to take advantage of the wing being taken off - e.g. door check strap and a faulty horn are two things on the list.

Also - any thoughts in terms of rust protection for the long term - e.g. maybe a coat of waxoil etc. before wing fitted?

Oil cooler resistor - if you haven't done it already? These normally break up over time meaning that the two speed fan for the oil cooling won't operate at both speeds. Access would I believe be much easier with the wing and bumper removed from the vehicle.

Thanks Maurice - no air con fitted - but I can just put the roof down[8D].
