In the genuine hope that no offence is caused....

Today, out and about, I spied with my little eye:

1) R18 member
2) new toy
3) prize for make, model and colour.

Clue, it wasn't Zeb.

That didn't take long!! Looks lovely Peter, really liked it. Did you notice my old car is up for sale at Bolton again??

Thanks very much Rob and it was nice of you to stop and chat too. It's been quite a while since we met. I didn't see your old car up fro sale at Bolton. If it is there it may be round the back awaiting preparation. After chatting to you I got the impression you were maybe going to trade the Spyder for a 911. Any more thoughts on it?

Well I had guessed that it would be be PB but had no chance on the colour or model-speed yellow eh!-sounds like male menopause to me -but then I'm jealous,Peter-lucky you-look forward to seeing it sometime. As for young Kellock-1 track day followed by lust for even more power-it might go to his head or somewhere else for that matter.[:)]

It's not so much more power but more seats! Try as I might, I can't fit Tom and Maddie in the spyder at the same time, a fact that they are not shy about reminding me every time the sun shines!

are you inferring I change my vehicle on a more than regular basis you cheeky beggar?!!! [:D]

Not much lateral thought there then,Rob-Teach one of them to drive, then there is plenty room.[8|]

And I was round Bolton OPC too the other day getting some bits, didn't see the Spyder (round the back?) but did see a fine green 993 soft top having been traded in - any one's on here ? Didn't see the reg at all but a pretty unusual green it was, sort of 'Robin Hood' green to create a name[;)] (Both the body and soft top).

Wasn't worried about offending you!! Graeme, spyder not for sale, but my beautiful 996C4 that I traded in for it is now up for grabs again at Bolton. Highly recommended! Peter's old (multi award winning) car also available there but it's also a 996.

Hi Graeme I think that you must mean my 'old' 996 Cab - Rainforest Greem with Savannah leather - that I traded in last week. If you are interested and need to know more about the beauty just let me know.

Aha, Thanks, Rob and thanks, Peter. I only saw the soft top and a bit of the bonnet of the 996 [;)] from a side view, in a row of cars at the front left while I was walking on out the main showroom door, so I clearly didn't keep on looking or go round to the left to change my line of sight to be sure of the model !!

I have just been on the the OPC Bolton website and my 996 cab is there for sale at £20,999 and looks like Rob's 996 C4 is there too at £22,990. If anyone wants info on my 996 just ket me know as I have the full history file. Including the first bill of sale. Cant wait to get back from my hols to get at my 997!!
