F Plate 2.7 Lux - How much? ... and what to replace it with?

Hi,

Been a while since I've had time to pop my head into here... long story short... guy meets girl, guy falls in love with girl and decides to get married, guy needs to sell 944 as the wife to be finds it too difficult to drive. (She's french and finds it hard to drive on the left as it is without having to deal with a car that is much heavier in terms of steering/pedals/gearbox than she's used to).

So... I have a white F plate Lux with about 94k miles on the clock, a good service history from before I bought (I think it might actually be complete haven't checked thoroughly though) and its had the following done in the last 6 months since I've had it (in which time its done about 3000miles). The interior is black, half leather Porsche logo. It has 15" teledial alloys (all tyres have lots of tread left) and I have a complete set (including centre caps) of wheels from a Turbo or S (can't remember which) that go with it.

- Full major service
- Cambelts replaced (other belts replaced too)
- All 4 brake calipers replaced with refurbed units
- Fuel line replaced
- Handbrake cable and shoes replaced

The car is good condition (I'll take some new pics soon after its been washed!) with no dents to speak of but a couple of small (about size of a £1 coin) rust spots on the wheel arches). Its just been MOT'ed and has 6 months tax on it.... So question is... what do you reckon its worth?? How much should I be putting up for sale for?

Second question is... what can I replace it with that will be as much fun to drive but easier for my wife to cope with... needs to be smaller, easier to park and ligher in terms of steering feel/pedals/gearbox etc. Suggestions appreciated

Girls huh!
Without wishing to be rude, in the current climate you are unlikely to get much more than £2000 - £2500 unless it's really special.
No chance of keeping it and adding another vehicle?

Unfortunately it is already the second the car.... a BMW M3 (E46) is my first car... and a little too expensive to insure with my wife on the policy..... and I really don't want to sell that in the currently climate....

Sorry to be gloomy, but if it was me I'd be selling the M3 while it is still worth something ...

Oli.
