Went and watched the F1 British GP in HD and Dolby surround in the Odeon Braehead live on Sunday , cost 15 pounds , great value !!!
No ads , commentary good ( not ITV ) surrounded by motorsport fans & popcorn , woo woo[;)]

Check it out on the odeon website , probably be there for the next few , loads of places to eat before or after

Mike

Why don't you organize a social event around it meet up watch the GP and go for a Curry after it or similar?? for those partners / wifes who are not into the GP could do a bit of retail therapy and then come along for a meal

That's a great idea. We're looking into going for the next one. Only got round to watching the GBGP today, but it was worth the wait!

German GP Sunday 20 July Meet up for cofffee 12.00( in the Odeon ) and either Frankie&Benny's ( NY Italian ) or Chequitos ( Mex ) or Nandos ( Portugese Chicken ) after. Don't see any of these eateries being busy at 3.00 so decision on the day.

Suggest leave until day or two before but if anyone books early try for last ( back) 3 rows ( small cinema ) , post your seat positions on the forum and then we can group together.

That day clashes with two other Porsche events that are on ,so cannot make it sorry perhaps a bit more notice for future screenings and we could organize something.

Fair enough ,didn't check for any clashes , so I rekon PCGB club business takes priority, best then not to arrange any formal meet up , plus the time of year a lot of people are on holiday.
maybe see you at Balathie
