Michael Schumacher will make a shock return to Formula 1 to replace injured Ferrari driver Felipe Massa....

Schui v Hamilton (who actually now has a car that works) v Button v RedBulls

Hmmmmm

Lance Armstrong............................come backs don't often work well! (Although 3rd was pretty decent)[:)]

At least they have a bit of a break before the next race so he has a slight chance of getting half way fit to last an entire race []

agree - although I would not under estimate Schumacher at all... One of the interesting lines in that BBC report is:
"The ban on in-season testing means Schumacher will not be able to turn a wheel of the 2009 specification Ferrari before first practice on Friday 21 August"

but you have to remember - this guy could drive a Ford Cortina and win!!

Yeah, but he's not exactly put his feet up since he's left (like Lance did). He's actively been involved in the development of Ferrari's production and F1 race cars, he's been carting, so his racing skills should still be there, and he's been test riding bikes. Though there is a rumour that he isn't the Stig afterall!

I'm looking forward to it. I really do think that the latest crop of drivers (Alonso, Hamilton and maybe Vettel excepted) are not in the same league as their predecessors.

Will be intriguing though despite the 2nd place Raikonnen managed in Hungary (which suited the car), the Ferrari is still somewhat off the pace overall. Slight difference this time also in that he won't have a team mate contracturally obliged to move over and hand him positions/wins like the good old days...
