Fab day at Shelsley

My wife and I were there.

Was a great day - and a new hill record.

Shame that there seemed to be many more incidents than normal - think the new surface was catching some out. On the up side, no-one appeared to be injured. Saw the accident which resulted in a car upside down coming out of the top 'S' - looked nasty but fortunately wasn't.

Yeah Chris... hill record broken 7 times in one day 3 times by the same driver!!
I think the offs were down to a combination of new surface and a damp few days prior.

We were on the s's with the Bewdley Rotarians.. great food and plenty to drink! - all for Acorns I think?

Shelsley is unique... where else is the such a packed days racing with fab atmosphere and run so well with freedom for spectators to go just about anywhere they want... marshalls and officials do a top job. I just hope the healtyh and safety lot never get there to spoil it from what it is - proper motor sport and a top day out. Congrats to all those behind it & those that helped to save what is the worlds oldest Motorsport venue!!!

Cant wait for another meet! Maybe we should try and get a few R13 cars parked up where the Frazers were....??? anyone up fo that?
