Fab, where are you? It's all gone very quiet.

I have been trying to contact fab for a couple of weeks and he is not answering his land line or his mobile.

Maybe someone who is close to him (a friend), or lives near him ought to get in touch.

PCGB HQ / PP personnel have not p****d him off completely, I hope.

I called at his house yesterday, Thursday16th, and it looks like he is away. His Porsche and a 4X4 are both in the drive but looked like they haven't been used for some days.

I would like to ask members to give him some space. I can just see some one from 'on high' putting pressure on him on the basis that 'the mebership feels let down'.

Fair comment, I don't think there's a massive problem - he'll see this at some point.

Nice to see you've got a Carmon red 911, they don't offer that colour on a 911 anymore- I have a carmon red 987

Maybe we should start a carmon red register- we could go to the pub and discuss why every other Porsche made in the last 5 years is silver grey or black

(only joking)

Good job you said; 'only joking' - the silver / grey lynch mob might have come after us, probably just to get lost in the fog!

Apologies for not making any comment on the forum until now as it is not a medium I use very often.
As the R19 Assistant (whatever that term means) I have started to receive calls from board members and the club house regarding the matter and unfortunately have very little to offer as the initial dispute/misunderstanding did not concern me other than as a spectator.

What I can tell you all is that Fabien is fit and well and I am sure he is very touched by the genuine concern various members have shown.

With regard to the region, our monthly meetings still are well attended both at the Royal Berkshire Hotel between Ascot and Virginia Water every first Sunday of the month (plug, plug) and the new monthly meeting at Porsche GB in Reading every third Saturday morning of the month.

So until this issue is resolved one way or another can I ask all R19 members to come along and support the region at these meetings.

Many thanks in advance
Leslie

Thanke Leslie, Good info, and good to hear Fab is about. [:)]

There's a good bunch of people that go to the Monthly meets (well apart from your's truly that it - the others are a good bunch...[;)])

It would be great to see all those on this thread turning up as well.
Details for the location are in PorscheFile if you haven't got the forums handy [:D].

Hi Leslie

Could I suggest that you put something into Porsche Post as not all Members are on the Forum.

Regards

Have fun

Hi Leslie.
One day I will get to one or two of your meetings,if my responsibilities change I may have to, but they clash with Cornbury House open days and I attend all of them.
I did stop by Fabs house again the other day. No one in bur the Porsche looked freshly polished.
