You bought one, Des? I looked into these in a big way and decided against. If you have bought one, what are your views?
Already 111db right handside 109db left .......don't think it can go any louder........got one on order when can WE fit it.....[]
Go for it Simon.......as current 964RS North Weald Champion you will need plenty of bottom end Torque to crush der Routemeisters....
Des, have you ordered it from the states????
Open airboxes are fine for noise,,,,but they don't neccesarily help performance on a hot day sucking in the hot air from the engine can retard the ignition costing you a few hp.
Noise isn't the way forward with track day operators becoming more stringent,,,I was very pleased when my 993 sailed through the test at bedford on saturday whispering at a mere 94db on the static test []

I have other cunning plans up my sleeve for that. I love the look of the airbox but the Rennlist guys have done a lot of testing of different airboxes and get no improvement with the Fabspeed over the drilled airbox. However, they do report the sound is wonderful![]ORIGINAL: carreraboy

The key to Judgement Day 2 will be tyres and brakes plus a little bit of driver ability. More time was lost last year going into and gettingh out of the corners than will ever be made up for by a few extra horses.
I thought it was pretty expensive for what it was. My car is close to std so is a bit on the quiet side and I wanted some music while driving. I bought a spare airbox and cut away a suitable section and the noise is a little fruitier than before. Little or no improvement in performance though as far as I could tell.
