Hopefully not a repost.

What a shame the rear reflector on the engine cover is so narrow, an after thought by any standard, not what I was expecting from Porsche, the 996 4S rear was far more imposing and pleasing ,do you not agree guys !

Have just sold my Seal Grey 996 4S

Great to see the reflector strip back, agree it is not a imposing as the 996 4S, however, I think the slimmer size suits the softer lines of the 997..[:)]

Hope they have these at the Silverstone track day..

I could well be tempted for next year... although I would like to see what they are going to do to the Turbo first.. [:)]

I thought the same about the reflector at first, but if they had kept it the same size as the 996 then I'm sure there would have been the calls of copying, no imagination, no design etc etc..

At first sight it looks uneasy with the lines of the lights, but agree it suits the slimmer and softer lines.

Absolutely agree, my 996 4S looked great with the red reflector and it distinguished it from other Carrera's and the Turbo. Trouble is now that I have the 997 tt I miss the reflector but at least the spoiler identifies the model. It seems that all the 4's will have it not just the "S" models, shame.

btw I didn't find that the "reflector" actually reflected in the dark in my garage but there again I don't recall following one .
