Thankfully they dont hire Audi Sales people or Audi Service people ... been their done that saga too many times [][][][] So much so car #1 will, in 4 months time, no Longer be an A6 2.7T Q Avante anymore ....that will be last of 6 Audis for me ..it just too painfull

(car #2 is of course allways a BoxsterS)

Surprised to see you post that.I had 4/5 at one period and all were quite good except one which revved up to 5000 for no reason, which was no joke when in traffic. There were a few deaths in the states before they owned up to the problem.

OPC's claim no knowledge (as usual). But a MY2007, late 2006 launch would be a good bet - especially when there are no new model launches other than the 911 Turbo next year.

I'll keep asking and let you know if I get any firmer news.

Thanks Larry.
Like the look of the new Audi 4x4. In view of the even closed relationship of the two companies of late, can I stay on the Cayenne register if I buy one.? ? ?

Cheers Daro, will be in Geneva for the show in March so will be interesting to see if they "show" it.

Hi Daro A friend who has to shift 60 Cayennes PA in France has told me that the first appearance of the facelift will be at the Paris show in September and it will not be released for sale till Jan 2007.Could be Porsche France trying to stop him panicking about his allocation
but he seems convinced .Let's see what happens in Geneva, if it appears there I think you will be proved right
