Thats interesting. I was told on Friday by a very well informed individual that the Tiptronic cars would soon be fitted with paddle shift.
 
So many sightings and so lightly disguised, I reckon it will either be unveiled at Geneva (and on sale next summer), or at the Frankfurt show in September.
 
I think it's further away than that. I was told, by someone who should know, that the new gearbox (which is not yet ready) will be launched on the facelifted 997 in 2008 for the 09 model year.

This equates to the same timescale as the 996 facelift and, afterall, the new 997 Targa, Turbo and GT3 have only just been launched.

Also, as Autocar pointed out, Cayenne facelifts have been seen for a couple of years and are not yet in production.
