I know this has been on autotrader for a while, but this is the first time I've opened it.

The description surprises me slightly. I may be new to 944s, but that one certainly doesn't look like a "factory original car" to me. I can see a vent in the bonnet (cooling the master cylinder) and a K&N induction kit. The exhaust doesn't look factory fit either. Or am I just showing my ignorance about what options came with the 944?

Nope you're right, it's not factory standard!

On a separate note, see you're another local member (to me!) I'm up near Stamford. Are you coming to the Rutland meet on Sunday?

Cheers
Andy

Hi Andy.

I have been contemplating a trip to rutland to be honest. It would be worthwhile being able to have a good look round some nice examples of these cars so I know what i'm looking for when I start seriously looking to buy. That's probably a bit presumptuous though!

Besides, I'd need to get permission from the boss first!

Would be daft not to come Sim, there'll be 20 or so 944's to ponder over...and it's only just up the road [;)]

It originally came out of the factory I suppose...

As an aside, the black side strips work quite nicely on a red car.
