I have been recently contacted by the owner of the above......it would appear that this is a rather special Clubsport in yellow with a factory at production built 3.8 widebody..the chassis checks out as a 92 Clubsport.he has documentation supporting the factory widebody build together with 18" Speedlines as new, it has the "standard" 3.6 engine.........anyone ever come across such a beast or know of this car......[:-]

Paul has sa similar one which has had problems registering in France but its not a clubsport I don't think...

wonder if he'll take a straight swap on my black beauty...

I was interested in this car but was sold, however pleased got my old car back which was not available at the time......this car was a converted lightweight by an OPC for the first owner in Germany thus not an original factory car although they used original parts with the exception of the rear spoiler...........

Tom had this up for sale for a while last year. It was owned by a German dentist in Hamburg( I think?). He wanted a 3.8RS but all 50 had sold so he spent loadsa money on a 3.6 RS to bring it up to 3.8RS spec. The engine was still 3.6 as far as I can remember. At the end of the day it is a messed with RS so will be hard to get rid off even if it looks the part.

Unfortunately this Yellow wide body car has sold again already. The French guy who bought it was gutted it couldn't be registered. And Jason no a straight swap was out of the question. Don't forget our agreement,,, your car is only on loan to you and I have first refusal on yours at your buy price. [;)]

The Clubsport you describe sounds interesting Des. Now you've got yours back you should just let me go and see it and add it to my stock.
