Is it possible to obtain a replacement VIL for the underside of the luggage compartment?
Mine has completely faded.

You can order one via your OPC but they are very expensive, a few hundred quid! If I were you I'd leave it as is. They do deteriorate.

If you're determined to replace it, why not copy the one in your service book (if you have it)?

A few hundred quid just for a sticker? Is that the most overpriced porsche part available?

thanks, believe it or not the service book is a replacement so there is no sticker in it!
 
Can you make out the data on your original VIL?

Had a search on Ebay and some enterprising character is selling them there. You'd need to supply the info.
