fan not turning off?

Hi All

Can anyone help? ('88 944 turbo)
When i turn off the engine the fan stays on until the battery frains. It happened about
9 months ago and i think the garage changed the switch. But its happened again already?
Can anyone advise or is it a straight switch change again?

It's always either the switch or the relay. Switch is cheap(ish) but a pain to fix, relay is 6 times the price but easy to fix.
 
Beaky did it on the '95 Scotland Tour. I pulled the fuse first time round and then put in a switch and in line fuse in in place of the fuse as a temporary fix - use spade connectors and then drop the wire through the bottom of the fuse box into the foot well.

Strangely, it seemed to fix it's self and never failed again - I did replace it many months later as we bought a replacement switch in Scotland.
