Fancy something really unique?

Well as has been hinted already I have a really trick piece here for you turbo modders. I have a full billet fuel rail kit manufactured by Custom Engineered Performance (CEP) which is a well respected US parts manufacturer. This kit is top notch and looks the dogs danglies, unfortunately I didn't get to see it bolted on my car. So what's wrong with the stock fuel rail? Not alot really, but there are some issues with it. Firstly it has a relatively small bore size therefore the fuel absorbs alot of heat. If you take off the plastic shield you will feel how hot the stock rail runs. Pre-heating the fuel is not ideal just prior to squiring it into the cylinder, espeically on a turbocharged car. This rail has a much larger bore size and flows more fuel and it's extruded finned cross section radiates heat very effectively, therefore it runs alot cooler (i'm told you can hold your hand on the rail when running), so the temperature of the fuel as it is squirted into the manifold is much much cooler.

Also there has been cases in the states of stock fuel rails developing cracks and leaking fuel. It is thought this might be an age related issue. It's not common, but has happened.

This part is very similar to the one Lindsay Racing manufactures, but is much better.

I've taken a couple of shots which don't do it justice (must improve my photography skills), and unfortunately I don't have a shot of one installed on a car, but if you look on the Lindsay website you will see their version to get an idea of how it looks.

The kit includes a saddle adaptor so it can be used with the stock FPR (or uprated 3 bar Bosch FPR) or it can be used in conjunction with an external adustable FPR. The kit includes everything you need to install.

Give me a shout if you are interested at a discounted price from new.

The only person in the UK running a kit like this that i'm aware of has the Lindsay kit so there cannot be too many people in the UK running this kit. They are much more common in the states. What's in the kit? The billet rail with billet damper in anodised black, braided hoses, stock FPR saddle adaptor and compression fittings for connection to hard fuel pipes so everything you need.

£325+postage (which shouldn't be much as it is very light). Believe me that is alot cheaper than it cost me to buy and to ship over here!!
