Fantastic day on the ALL FOOLS

Well what a fantastic day we had on the "ALL [/i]FOOLS TULIP ROUTE[/i]".
If you missed this one you probably missed one of the best outings so far this year. The route took us through parts of rural Northamptonshire and Rutland with great views of Rutland Water where we stopped for a coffee break. Then it was back on the road again for part two of the run, returning to Northamptonshire then making our way to Lyddington in Rutland where lunch awaited us.
It was a really stunning route through picturesque villages and along quiet roads with some long straight sections where you could put your foot down. It was a brilliant day out.

Thanks Rikki mate, you did a fantastic job organizing a great day which everyone enjoyed. More of the same please.

Great to see you, Pip, and your latest Boxster. Couldn't agree more - a terrific day out. Wonderful roads to use the car on (so good I couldn't resist taking the longer route on both sections of the Tulip [] (....those less charitable might say I got lost [8|][]).

Living in the 'south' of the Region, I seldom venture to the roads north of Northampton - and I not regret not bothering before. Some spectaular views close to that rather large puddle we drove around .
