I guess the spicy 911 handling caught some poor bugger out. Real shame, I remember when Fen was selling it thinking how nice a car it looked for the money.

Take it easy out there this winter folks.

Yep it was mine.

To be fair to Simon (the guy I sold it to) he wrote on PH that the crash was due to someone in a white van who had just been involved in a road-rage incident pulling off the central reservation without looking and giving him nowhere to go to avoid the impact.

Interestingly although I don't remember the exact mileage it had 130k+ on it when I sold it, and it was a 1992 car back then...

Worth a call to Trading Standards? Some sucker will end up paying over the odds for parts otherwise....[]

The problems would be that I don't have any record of the mileage beyond my (sketchy) memory, though I know something in the 130's was correct, and that I don't know where it lost 40 or 50k miles. DV may have bought it in good faith at those miles.

If anyone reading this is thinking of buying any parts from it, it has covered at least 35k miles more than it says (my guess is 40k, could even be 50k)

Fen.
Just out of interest. Is the colour "Cobalt Blue".??
And did you get the wheels done to match.??
