Hard to believe it I know but we seem to be in some sort of pocket of c**p weather and it is starting to irritate me. With the 944's infamous snow/ice handling she will come out only as soon as the track I live on is clear.
The track had better be clear for the 21st is all I can say or I'll be going to a Porsche meet in a Volvo and that would get me some stick [

Don't worry, plenty of us have turned up in vans before. [&o]
I'm probably not even going to try to get to Autosport this weekend, I had one go in the car and it's just irresponsible to take a car out on the compacted ice we have unless it's essential. I would have thought that most people who can get out would be going to Birmingham, rather than Fatboys?

I'm hoping to drive up there especially as its such a '944' day. I was disappointed to read here that the cafe has closed down though , a nice brekkie and hot cuppa would have been superb for a winter meet. Better than any pub meet on a winters day I reckon, I really fancy a rare cooked breakfast now
I have to confess I hadnt even looked it up and I do get it confused with Conniston Waters? , dont think I have ever been to Rutland Waters. Now I see where it is , its about an hour and a half ( no probs) but that journey M11,A14,A1(m) is speed camera city. I am no stupid driver on public roads but anyone using that route will need to be very conservative indeed !
